You know this really it an odd world we live in. I know that my life will in no ways be enriched by knowing where this picture is from, or the story behind it, but for some inexplicable reason I can’t help but wonder why what I assume to be “grown-up” powder-puff girls are being menaced by random cartoon network characters.

Also Bleedman sucks, true story.

True enough...

but...

I just know they'll pull some cheap bull shit out of their assess that'll make Iron Man's suit immune to Magnetos powers, I just know it. They'll make up some excuse just to keep Tony in power. Plot armor and all that.
Seriously, wasn't it immune to Spider-Man's spider-sense?

>> No.170

>>61

yeah, the writers will probably make Iron man's armor out of some sort of ceramic. [seeing as how popular ceramic armor is with everyone I know...]

>> No.177

>>170
Wouldn't that defeat the name "Iron Man" if his armor's made of clay?

>> No.178

>>177

know it or not you just pretty much summed up the entire current story arc

>> No.350

In House of M, the armor he made in that universe had some kinda "anti-magnet" stuff in it. Had the option to kill Magneto, but didn't.

Could he do it in the "regular" Marvel universe? Well, I believe next in line after the Hulk is Thor so...good question on whether or not Magneto gets a turn ;)

>> No.351

The preview for Thor 3 shows Thor is might PO but I wonder how far he would go...

>> No.468

>>170

Problem being that ceramics still have something of a magnetic field. If it's not naturally magnetic or have the material in it that respond in that regard it is most likely paramagnetic. Also not all ceramic armors are straight up ceramics. Some other materials might be mixed into it to that could increase it's responsiveness.

There are very few antiferromagnetic magnetic materials.

Which one could put energy on it to apply a field onto such a material. Though it's magnetic properties tend to disappear once the energy/field have left it. Not so much of a problem with someone of Magneto's powers if he really wanted to exert himself.

Most comic writers have barely any grasp of science except to take the newest ideas and theories of the time and place them into characters. So yeah it's plot armor.

For starters, marvel sucking is a opinion all in itself. Not something that the whole world feels. I for one slightly enjoyed the movie Doctor Strange: Sorcerer Supreme. And as for marvel, and DC; well, let's just say I love the living hell out of the stuff. Everything cannot be based on reality after all. :/

I hope you're not into Toph because she's loli and all that Captain Picard stuff. Cause she's a nifty idea.
"Sure sure, but that blind person sensing stuff has already been done, like with Daredevil." Whatever, Matt Murdock hasn't been handicapped in decades. When the gang found a shanty-town in a lake, Toph was all "wtf? You guys are crazy, there's nobody else here." And riding on Appa is freaky because she can't "see" a thing when she's in the air. When she was doing ship-to-ship artillery, she needed someone sighted next to her to call the shots.

I think she's cool 'cause she's a crip, she could've had an easy life being coddled, but instead she's goin' out there and getting stuff done.

And you know cripples in kung fu flicks end up kicking the bad guy's ass.

"I can put up posters too damnit!"

"...Its upside down isn't it?"

Perfect example of why Toph isn't your standard blind mary sue character. I enjoy that she's not as annoying as that.

I still like Kitara best, DESPITE her being a total standardized, stereotypical mary-sue female lead.

I suppose that makes me an idiot. Or maybe I just like long hair and water too much.

found this on some guy's deviant art page, he was banned there but his gallery had a funny comic, so I looked for his site, which is a pretty funny webcomic with, get this, toys. It's like... a still-frame version of robot chicken. He apparently runs it as a webcomic, so I think this goes here.
Also, I copied off one of the funny comics from his deviant art, since that's the only place he seems to string comics together in one image file, on his site each panel is it's own file which is kind of dumb but neat anyways.
Oh yeah, his site is http://www.nukelandcinema.com
