The fan name for it is "Sailor Zombie", although I'm pretty sure it is not shoujo. I'm looking forward to it although I prefer Gainax's original works!

The manga is kinda meh, I don't quite understand why it is so popular. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, just bland.
On a related note: Another seifuku-wearing action girl? I can't be the only one getting bored by this.

I'm sure a lot of people were saying "What, another kids-pilot-robots show?" when GAINAX started working on another series of theirs, so let's wait and see. They might just surprise us.

It's a little like Tokko if you think about it.

Don't think it's too bad, I prefer GAINAX's older animation styles though. It's been getting too... dynamic. Best word I can think of. One thing I like when I first started watching vaguely serious anime was how everything didn't seem to be made of rubber like in american stuff.
