While I'm the first to admit that it's impossible for we on Earth to be the only lifeforms in the universe (certainly going by the law of probability), and it's obvious that the extraterrestrial visitors we've had are superior in intelligence - clearly having the technological nous to build galaxy-spanning craft, I call into question their sense of aesthetics. I mean, flying SAUCERS?! That's SO 1950s! Since then, our film companies' production designers have come up with spaceship designs that are VASTLY superior in every way (posted pic as a prime example). No, until ol' E.T. can come visit us in something resembling a Romulan Valdore-class Warbird (or akin to some of the ship designs Hollywood's come up with), I'm afraid I'll refer to 'flying saucer' UFOs as IFOs: Inferior Flying Objects.

I ceased having any form of Windows on my computers some time ago.
Vista on a Notebook is crap.. most Notebooks only have 512 MB Ram Vista requires at least 2 GB.. Even in Japan they still sell Notebooks with XP.
A lot of businesses are simply ignoring Vista. The hardware guys where I work are already talking about "Windows 7". I presume they're hoping to skip Vista entirely.
Only thing Vista has on XP is the speech recognition and the shiny new minesweeper. You haven't played minesweeper until you've played it using voice commands.
Vista is the new ME.
>>7050I wonder if Vista-tan will become as moe as ME-tan.
>>7049Curse you for ruining my Vista-free tranquility.
Okay, so Vista may be more like ME, but this won't stop me installing XP on my comps. Reliable, never had a BSOD (even with 2000), tons of drivers (even W2K drivers for older devices are compatible), and easy as piss to install. Can't say the same for Linsucks. Not after an experimental installation of one version (don't know which, and I don't care). I still have the mental scars. Until the developers make a version that's EASY to install as Windows (and doesn't have a steep learning curve), has as many easily available drivers as Windows, and has as much software as Windows, I'm afraid Linsucks will always have that 'geek-y' image, and Microsoft will always dominate.Pic very related.
