Well, I thought I would try this approach to meeting artists to OC with.

Okay, so my skills arent the best, but I do want to create a circle of good OCing buddies. I am very flexible when it comes to drawing, if you give me a theme, I can usually step up to the base and deliver reasonably okay art. Sure I want to get better, but do enjoy the fun side to be had with OC in simply messing around.
So what I am basically saying is that anyone who wants to OC with me, drop me a line on one of my instant messenger services:

I have introduced many online friends to OC but they tend to just sort of watch, when what I really want is not so much a competition, rather, an art party, if it can be called that.
