i was only short of one letter. T_T
this is pretty neat! i'm gonna try this sometime, I'd immagine we'd flip the coin to see who plays what part, the first few rounds would probly be pretty fast, if the slave dies, emporor wins, I really dont think the emp. has enough drawbacks, but the bloodrule and using the vil. properly end up making the slav. the more stratigic unit, anyways, I'm looking forward to playing!
had my first game of this last night! really quite interesting, I played slave, and soon understood it was my job to run as many Civils into each other as possible, in the end, the emp and slav were face to face, 2 civils left, he assumed I was going to move my slave, so actually moved thw where my slave was, well I didnt move my slave, but collided another pair of civils, so I won via him suiciding into my slave

Scanned this 400+ page motherfucker in! Sharing it via Pirate Bay. It's a pretty rare book and the available copies are all over $100. I got the local library to order it for me, then scanned it in. Perhaps you can convince the library to order a copy in your area as well. Or you can just grab this Torrent.Book scans of:"A History of Games Played With the Tarot Pack"by Michael Dummett and John McLeodIt's all about the real history behind Tarot which has surprisingly little to do with all the mystical bullshit we attach to the cards these days. I've actually played the card game myself and it's pretty damn fun! Here's the URL to the torrent:http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3913821/

What is the most logical(Means realistic but magic/scifi is allowed as long as it's... logical) system you can think of?
>>279Isn't this true of most everything that doesn't use a hit point-based system?Like Shadowrun, where pretty much everything has a chance of killing you in one hit if your opponent has even average stats, and even light injuries give noticeable penalties to everything you attempt, and take days to heal.

>>383Getting shot is pretty much the least lethal thing that can happen to you in Call of Cthulhu, anyways.
CoC does use hit points, it just doesn't have to get all the way down to 0 for you to be out.
>>385Well, yeah. How can getting plugged by a puny 38. compare to say, getting eaten by a Shoggoth? In a game were most encounters can cause -INSTANT DEATH /INSANITY MOTHAFUCKA!!- getting shot isn't so bad.
